We are honored to share that the Randolph Health Maternity Services Unit now has a CuddleCot, a special resource made possible through the heartfelt efforts of Randolph
Health RN, Cambria Sipe.
After experiencing the profound loss of her baby girl, Ellie Faith, Cambria was inspired to support other grieving families in their time of need. Through her research, she connected with the Butterflies & Birdies Foundation, who generously donated a CuddleCot in memory of Ellie.
A CuddleCot is a portable cooling system that provides families the precious gift of time, allowing them to spend meaningful moments with their baby after loss. This CuddleCot is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Ellie Faith. As Cambria shares, “It’s so special to me because every mom that experiences the loss of a baby will hopefully be comforted by having access to the CuddleCot. We did this out of love and in memory of Ellie."
The CuddleCot bears a plaque inscribed with Ellie Faith’s name and the words: “Loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”
We are deeply grateful to Cambria for her courage, compassion, and the love she has shared with other families through this gift.
