Diabetes is a chronic condition requiring daily management. It can become burdensome or even feel lonely or isolating. Wherever a person is in their diabetes journey, it’s important for them to realize they are not alone- their medical team, friends and loved ones can all be a vital part in helping them THRIVE while living with diabetes. In addition, peer support can also play a role – diabetes support groups give people with diabetes (and the people who love them!) a chance to engage with one another, share information and offer encouragement.
At Randolph Health, our diabetes support group meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 4pm at the Diabetes & Nutrition Center at 208-D Foust Street. ALL are welcome – folks living with diabetes and their friends and family members. There is no registration fee or reservation required!
If you are living with diabetes, or have a loved one or friend who would enjoy some support, please feel free to join us.
Everyone is Welcome!
